Astrology with Alice: 15 September 2025

So much of what we have been experiencing both collectively and personally over the past months seems to signify change and new beginnings as well as the sense that we are reaching the end of a very long cycle and it is time, therefore, to close and complete, to say goodbye to that which we no longer sits well with our vision of who we want to be in the future.

This also seems to be the message of the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces which took place last Sunday 7th September. As the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces symbolises both endings and beginnings, and trining Jupiter this eclipse was particularly potent. There may have been a sense of bringing something to a close, surrendering to what is, and in doing so moving closer towards the right relationship with ourselves and our hearts.

Looking ahead, now that we are in Virgo season there can be a desire to plan and organise  and take definitive action towards our goals, but she also teaches reflection and discernment. Virgo is the sign most closely aligned with the Goddess of the Harvest and the Grain (in Greek mythology Demeter) and it is through relationship with the embodied Divine Feminine that we can connect more deeply to the natural world and the life of our bodies. This may be a time when we listen closely to our inner wisdom and let her guide us forward in our next steps.
