Astrology with Alice: 3 August 2025

We are now in the season of Leo (23 July - 22 August). Leo is symbolised by the Sun in astrology and just as the Sun shines brightly in the sky through July and into August, so too are we being asked to shine as our unique, most expressive selves at this time. Leo is the King and the Queen, the Lion and Lioness, and these symbols seem to be calling us to share our authentic selves with the world.

For many of us, this can be about expressing our own powerful vision; it can be the desire to ‘give birth’ to something, whether that be a physical child or our own creative projects. As a fire sign this energy is all about doing and taking action in the material world. Leo rules the heart so there can often be a sense of following your emotions rather than the logic of the ‘head’. 

Astrology is so much about our relationship to ourselves and in understanding more about the most prominent energies in our chart we can begin to know ourselves better.
